How to List and Manage Amazon Products Through Shopify?
Amazon now has become of the biggest online store through the online business, attracting millions of buyers every day. Most sellers would like to stop into Amazon and start selling or dropshipping on Amazon.

 

Shopify & Amazon Integration


There is no a tool which supports to list products to Amazon directly, and most of the tools only work with existing ASINs in the Amazon catalog. If you want to dropshipping on Amazon and list supplier products to your store, Shopify is a good solution for you.Vice versa, you can also use Amazon as a marketing platform to promote your Shopify store to gain more traffic and sales.

Amazon has already announced that it would cooperate with Shopify, mainly because Shopify combines the advantages of both Amazon and FBA. Also Shopify has worked around to integrate with Amazon, allowing users to synchronize their Shopify store with Amazon. "Just like any other sales replacement, any product, customers and other data from Amazon will be synced with Shopify." Shopify will integrate Amazon's login, payment and FBA services.



 

What’s the advantage of syncing your listings to Amazon?


1. Create new Amazon listings directly from Shopify.
2. No matter what category of Amazon products, you can create discounts or discounts directly at Shopify.
3. Sync product details, variations, images, etc. to your Amazon
seller account.
4. Link any existing Amazon listings to shopify items.
5. The Shopify settings only target Amazon's prices and inventory.
6. Use Shopify reporting to easily view Amazon sales profiles and
product sales trends.
7. Use Shopify Tracking to sync Amazon listings inventory.
8. Complete and fulfill Amazon orders directly from Shopify.

In order to sell on Amazon and connect it to Shopify, you need to make sure that you meet the requirement as follows:
1. You must first choose the billing plan for your shopify store.
2. Currently, you can only use Shopify to sell ‘‘Clothing & Accessories’’ in the Amazon( click here to check more rules for Amazon category: https://services.amazon.com/services/soa-approval-category.htm )
3. Your store must use USD as currency.
4. You can not use Amazon's Fulfillment to ship your products.

Notice: Although you can only sell Clothing&Accessories products in the Amazon using Shopify at first, other types of products can be gradually added to Shopify after you have been approved to sell more. That is, you can still create non-clothing listings directly in Amazon, link to the Shopify store, and then use other advantages (inventory sync, order fulfillment, sale reports....).

How to list products from Shopify to Amazon?


Now let’s see how to list product from Shopify to Amazon. First, go to your Shopify store Setting and add Amazon as a sale channel:


After you install Amazon, and it will direct to a page, you can click Connect to Amazon, and log in your account to finish the connection:
 


After these have been done, remember your Shopify products will not automatically be created to your Amazon store, you need to list products from Shopify to Amazon. Here are 2 ways: a. make an offer for an existing product on Amazon, that would be the easiest way; b.create an individual listing to Amazon.

1. For example, go to Aliexpress and click on the product pic, it will show "import to ShopMaster", then you can import this product in one-click:


2. Go back to ShopMaster, and then click to directly create listings to your Shopify store.


Go to the Draft box and edit your Shopify product, then you can click publish to the online store on ShopMaster. ShopMater will reprice the products a monitor inventory&price for your Shopify products.


After you upload the product from ShopMaster to your Shopify store, the next step is to move the product to your Amazon store. You can choose the product and edit it, and you will see a Manage button on the right side, and then click to add this product to Amazon store.


Or make an offer for existing products on Amazon sold by another seller. Go to Amazon channel, and search for an item or category, and you will see some similar listings, click to view the item details. After you have decided to list these matched products, select it and fill in all the required specifics, and directly publish it to Amazon.



 

Set up inventory Management on Shopify


After Shopify connected with Amazon sale channel, there are two inventory tracking settings: "use shopify inventory management" and "manual inventory management".


If you choose to use Shopify inventory setting, then Shopify will automatically update your Amazon inventory for each of your listings. Also ShopMaster has Inventory and Price monitor, it will automatically update to your Shopify listings if suppliers change theirs. So it will help you in a better to manage both of your inventory between Shopify and Amazon.

Another way is you can choose to manually manage your Amazon inventory, and edit your listing quantity. If you choose to manually manage your Amazon inventory, you can set aside a specific amount of inventory that is only available to Amazon buyers. Due to purchases made on Amazon, the number decreases automatically, so you will need to manually replenish inventory for listings.

 

Manage Orders and Refunds on Shopify


Everything is ready, when you get Amazon orders, your orders will be synchronized with the Shopify orders and appear in your Shopify background. The orders will be marked as Amazon so that you can recognize them. When you fulfill Amazon orders on Shopify, Shopify will automatically update to your Amazon store and mark order as "Fulfilled".

Please remember don't fulfill the order on Amazon and Shopify together, that will cause a problem of your Amazon seller account. And the customer will only receive notification from Amazon and you will receive notification from Amazon and Shopify.


If you want to refund your Amazon orders for the customer, you can do it on Shopify. Go to the Order tab, and find the order, then click to view it you will find a ‘Refund’ button. After you refund the order on Shopify, it will automatically sync to your Amazon store. So you don’t need to do anything more.
